I use Chaotica software to create my designs. I do not start out with any preconceptions. I start to manipulate an unformed mass of color and form and see what emerges. The result is often surprising and startling. I am amazed at how often the digital image reflects the natural world and recognizable objects in our experience.
Welcome to my world of Fractal Art. In a nutshell, fractals are images which are self-perpetuating. The overall pattern spawns its own shape ad infinitum. Fractals are found in nature (think leaf veins, branching tree limbs, a rose spiraling inward), as well as in the abstract domain. A limitless variety of designs, colors, and shapes are possible. The software I use is aptly called “Chaotica.” I start with randomly generated chaotic shapes and patterns, and then form them into a pleasing design, mimicking the perfection of the evolutionary processes within the natural world.
